Lori Gard, M Sc, M Ed, CCC, CT, CSFT
Lori‘s degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Studies, a Bachelor of Education, a Master of Education and a Master of Science in School Counselling and Guidance. She is a published author, Canadian Certified Counsellor, Registered Counselling Therapist and nationally certified Solution Focused Brief Therapist with CCPC Global. Lori works in her private counselling practice with individuals, couples and families using a Solution Focused and Emotionally Focused therapeutic lens.
She additionally has worked as a K–6 school counselor in western PEI. Lori has written for Huffington Post, Edutopia, PEI Living Magazine, and PEI’s Red Magazine. She is the author of three children’s books, Reg Goes Swimming, Reg Takes a Trip and Reg Catches a Salmon.
Lori is the Chair of the College of Counselling Therapy of PEI and the lead investigator of ethics complaints. She works to share resources, develop professional development for counsellors. She is also a member of the PEICA.

Emma is entering her second year of University as a psychology student. She is completely bilingual, so can offer services in both official languages. She LOVES Yoga and was excited to offer Yoga at Red Sands Therapy as a certified Yoga teacher. She studied yoga with the Yoga Renew Program which offers a strong background in all areas of yoga study as well as practical study for a strong educational perspective.
Emma is highly motivated with desire to take on new challenges. She has volunteered at her university as part of the First Responders Team, assisting peers with health challenges and emergencies.
She looks forward to meeting you at Yoga classes this summer through the months of July and August at the Loyalist Inn. She offers large, group, semi private and private yoga classes.
